ReplyDeleteI live 10 minuets away from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Academy, Sometimes, students in there go to the local elementary schools to educate younger children. They demonstrate who to react when there are strangers trying to kidnap you. Also every morning, number of students in the Police Academy volunteer on the crosswalks near local schools. They stand beside the crosswalks with green flag and keep children's safety. We called this "녹색경찰" or "녹색어머니" which means Green police or Green mother (sometimes mothers volunteer).
